The Perfect Finish: What to Do in Supetar After Your Boat Trip

You’re back at the pier, your skin is salty, your phone is full of Blue Cave photos, and you’ve got that "perfectly tired" feeling that only a day on the Adriatic can give. But the day isn't over yet!

Supetar is more than just a ferry port—it’s a town with a soul. To make sure your day ends as perfectly as it started on our Colnago 34, here is our local guide on how to spend your evening in Supetar.

1. Fuel Up: The Post-Sea Dinner

After a day of swimming and salt air, you’re going to be hungry. Really hungry.

  • The Local Gem: If you don't mind a very short drive or a bit of a walk just outside the main bustle, Restoran Nona Roka is a fantastic choice. It’s where tradition meets great food, offering that authentic Brač island atmosphere that’s hard to beat.

  • The Waterfront Buzz: For those who want to stay in the heart of the action, the Riva (waterfront) is lined with spots for a quick pizza or fresh seafood while watching the boats come and go.

2. The Golden Hour: Sunset & Cocktails

Supetar has some of the best sunset views on the island, and we have two favorite ways to enjoy them:

  • The Chill Vibe: Walk westward along the coast toward the St. Nicholas Cemetery. On your way, stop at Benny's Bar. It has that perfect, laid-back beach atmosphere where you can enjoy a drink with your feet practically in the sea.

  • The Rooftop View: If you want to see Supetar from above, head to Hotel Osam. Their rooftop bar is the place for a sophisticated sunset drink. The view over the harbor and the Brač channel as the lights turn on is pure magic.

3. A Sweet Finale: Gelato & Stroll

No evening in Dalmatia is complete without a "đir" (a slow stroll) and a scoop of ice cream. Grab a gelato from one of the stands on the Riva and walk towards the parish church of the Annunciation of Mary. The architecture is stunning, and the mosaic in front of the church is a hidden gem.

4. Souvenirs: The Soul of Brač Stone

Skip the generic plastic magnets. You are on the island of stone, and you should take a piece of it home.

  • The Living Workshop: Head to the corner of the Riva near the pier, where you’ll find Pjero Čaglević. This isn't just a shop; it’s a living gallery. If you’re lucky, you’ll see the master himself carving white Brač stone right there on the street. Watching a statue emerge from a raw block of stone is a hypnotic experience and the most authentic souvenir you can find in Supetar.

Why Supetar is the Best Base for Your Holiday

One of the reasons we love starting our tours from here is the atmosphere. Returning to Supetar after a long day at sea feels like coming home. Everything is within walking distance, the vibe is relaxed, and the hospitality is genuine.
